About Penguin Colony Guide

Penguin Colony Guide is an unofficial fan resource for Penguin Colony, the Antarctic cosmic horror game from ORIGAME DIGITAL, published by Fellow Traveller and launching on 16 October 2026.

The site exists for one reason: the game is unusually good at withholding instructions, and the demo is easy to bounce off if you spend your first hour lost. Everything here is written to remove that specific friction, so the time you spend in the Antarctic goes on watching the expedition fall apart rather than working out which way the colony is.

Where the information comes from

• The Steam store page and its app data for the game and the free demo, for systems, requirements, languages and store features
• The studio's own Steam announcements, including the launch post of 29 September 2026 and the influences post of 29 August 2026
• The publisher's game page for platforms and developer background
• Public demo discussion threads on the Steam forums, for anything the studio has not documented

Where a detail comes from players rather than from the studio, the page says so in plain language. Nothing on this site is presented as a first-hand test we did not run, and no numbers are invented to fill a table.
